Description

Let’s be structural engineers for the day! Join us to learn about earthquakes and design and construct your own small building using a variety of recycled materials. Then, we will test to see if our buildings can withstand being shaken in an earthquake simulation. Be ready to have fun as we tackle this hands-on STEAM challenge!

For children in grades K-2. Registration is required. Children attend independently. Parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, March 7.

In order to provide the best learning environment for all participants, we are unable to allow access, regardless of registration, if you arrive 10 minutes after the program starts.
