Description

Join us for a fun D.I.Y. project! No registration required; for children in grades K-5. First come, first served, while supplies last. Once you grab the kit, pull up the “how to” on our YouTube Channel at your convenience. Instructions on accessing the YouTube video will be included in the kit. Most craft supplies provided.

D.I.Y. Take and Make kits will be at BOTH the Main Library (1080 Old Post Road, upstairs in the Children’s Department) AND the Fairfield Woods Branch Library (1147 Fairfield Woods Road, inside). Please see below for specific details. Kits will be available when the Library opens while supplies last.

Saturday, October 22: Lighted Paper Jack-o-Lantern -- What makes a pumpkin into a Jack-o-Lantern? An empty inside, a light and usually a smiley or scary face! Design and create your very own paper Jack-o-Lantern to celebrate the season! To do this craft, you will need your own scissors, pencil and glue stick.
