Thanks to computers and the Web, we suddenly have a collection of new tools for telling compelling stories, tools that let you produce movies, slide shows, audio podcasts.

In this class learn how to make:

  • A heart-pounding 30 sec video story, with music using Animoto
  • a photo story with Google Slides,
  • an audio podcast, with photos, using VoiceThread

These are free web-based programs that work on Mac and PC computers.

LEVEL: Beginner – Intermediate

Presenter: Gary Webster, a Fairfield resident, is a dynamic technology integrator, industrial designer and certified teacher, developing and teaching technology and design for the classroom. He’s had over 15 years’ experience creating and training teachers in diverse technology resources for schools, and shaping curriculum, using technology in all 16 Fairfield County school districts and throughout the state. He’s currently teaching web design, page layout, podcasting, movie making and photo editing at Southern Connecticut State University.
