Help the Fairfield Public Library collect nonperishable food items for Operation Hope's October Food Drive! Each child who would like to participate must bring a donation (see what is needed below) to the Rotary Room on October 16 to gain access to our slime event! Doors will close promptly at 4:10 pm so please arrive on time.

Operation Hope is in need of the following items (unexpired, please): 

      • Any Chef Boyardee product

      • Canned fruit

      • Canned tuna

      • Boxed macaroni & cheese

      • Shampoo

      • Canned dog and cat food

For children 4 years old through 5th grade. Children ages 4 and 5 must be accompanied by an adult. Children in grades K-5 may attend independently, but their parent or caregiver must remain in the Library during the event. Registration is not required, but drop-ins will not be permitted after 4:10 pm.
