Description
The Caregivers Circle is an interactive workshop that aims to help participants tap into their creativity and add new techniques to their self-supporting “toolbox.” The program is designed for adults who are serving as caregivers, either directly or indirectly, for their elders and/or youngsters. This gathering is an opportunity to both release difficult energy and cultivate supportive energy to help navigate demanding caregiving responsibilities.
Participants can expect discussion, light movement, visualization exercises, and sharing of tools, techniques, and resources that aid in developing personal inner resources.
Julie Blitzer, a Fairfield resident, supports people in grief through a program called The Grief Recovery Method, and is a trained End-of-Life Doula, a Hospice Volunteer, and a Hoffman Process Graduate Leader.
Beth Furman, a Fairfield resident, teaches Vinyasa yoga and her self-designed movement class, both privately and in group settings for adults and children, and is the creator of “Messages to Move You,” inspirational cards and artwork that help guide movement and meditation practices.
