WHAT IS THE CLOUD AND AM I USING IT?

So, what is “The Cloud” anyway? The Cloud refers to the sharing of data and programs over the Internet. Here are some common examples of using the Cloud: sharing files or photos, backing up important data, using services such as Netflix, keeping track of your schedule, using online versions of Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, using Google Docs to create and collaborate on documents, using online versions of programs such as QuickBooks, using Amazon to access your music library from anywhere, and so on.

Mike Ingber is the owner of Upward Business Systems, which has been in business since 1989 and provides expert, reliable, affordable computer consulting services to a large base of clients.  Clients include town halls, libraries, non-profit agencies, small and medium businesses of all sorts, home users, and senior citizens.  Mike received an M.S.
