Description
"Big Emotions, Big Reactions: Understanding What Your Child Is Really Communicating (Ages 4-8)" focuses on helping parents understand what is often underneath behaviors like meltdowns, shutdowns, and big reactions during transitions. During this workshop, we will explore why these moments happen from a developmental perspective and how behavior is often a child’s way of communicating they are overwhelmed, their frustration, or the skills they are still developing. Parents will leave with a clearer framework for understanding their child, along with practical strategies they can use in everyday situations like morning routines, transitions, sibling or peer conflict, and emotional outbursts.
This workshop is intended for parents and caregivers of children ages 4-8. Registration is required. Space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, April 16.
