Best Buddies CT Table Event

Stop by the Main Library's lobby and learn about Best Buddies CT.  Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading inclusion and creating one-on-one friendships for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities ("IDD".)  This organization has chapters in schools across CT, along with the Citizens and E-Buddies programs.

Best Buddies Citizens creates friendships between adults 18+ with and without IDD to create inclusive and diverse communities. The Citizens program creates social opportunities for people with IDD that often have limited social opportunities upon leaving the school environment. 

Best Buddies E-Buddies fosters online friendships between individuals with and without IDD for ages 13+. Friendships are facilitated through the E-Buddies social platform, designed to expand friendships and create shared experiences through virtual social events.
