Author Event - Jillian Celentano - Transitioning Later in Life

Jillian Celentano lived most of her life not accepting who she was. Since beginning her transition at the age of 55, she has been able to live authentically as her true self. In this helpful and practical guide, she offers advice to other people who are transitioning later in life.

She is an advocate for the transgender community, speaks at various venues across the northeast, including support groups, conferences, schools, universities and medical facilities.  She is a member of Stonewall Speakers, and has organized a support group for transgender youth.  Jillian has returned to college to obtain her Master's degree in social work to become a counselor for primarily the transgender community.
