Where do artists travel from the first fleeting glimpses of inspiration?
Something observed on the street, an emotion triggered by a certain hue or the verse of a stanza, reflections on the joyous growth of a family--all might provide an initial concept. From this beginning, the kernel must be nourished with exploratory sketches or brushwork or the addition of strong design shapes and elements to achieve a whole.
